OnePlus 11 is expected to launch in first half of 2023, key specifications leaked

This year has been a busy one for OnePlus and the company, it seems, doesn’t plan to rest any time soon. Past reports suggested that the next smartphone that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer plans to unveil is the OnePlus 11 Pro. But, now a new report suggests a different story. The latest report reveals that the company will, instead, launch the OnePlus 11 with Pro-specs.

According to a report coming from a popular tipster, Max Jambor, OnePlus’ next smartphone will be called the OnePlus 11 and not the OnePlus 11 Pro. Now, it is said that in the first half of 2023, OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 11 with Pro-level specs. This also means that we may not see the OnePlus 11 Pro launch alongside the base model earlier next year unless the company changes its mind. It is believed that the OnePlus 11 Pro will go official in the second half of 2023 with better and more powerful specifications

Now, this change in strategy kind of makes sense since the OnePlus 11 is said to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, while the Pro model is tipped to come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen2 SoC later next year.

OnePlus 11 specifications

While the company hasn’t revealed anything yet, leaks and rumours have revealed most of the key specifications of the next OnePlus flagship. The OnePlus 11 is tipped to come packed with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera.

On the hardware front, the OnePlus phone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the OnePlus phone runs Android 13 out-of-the-box. It is said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support in the box.

On the camera front, the OnePlus 11 comes packed with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32-megapixel 2x telephoto camera. On the front, the phone is tipped to include -- a 16-megapixel camera. On the rear panel, the phone is expected to offer Hasselblad-branded cameras. Some of the connectivity options we can get are -- 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
