OnePlus Nord Buds CE with 20-hours battery life launched in India, priced at Rs 2,299

OnePlus has launched a new pair of TWS earbuds, dubbed OnePlus Nord Buds CE, in India. As the name suggests, the new earbuds sit in the company's Nord portfolio and are a toned-down version of the existing Nord buds. The Nord Buds CE are targeted toward budget-oriented customers, but specifications are quite modest. Key features include 13.4mm audio drivers, AI noise cancellation, and 20 hours of listening time.

The OnePlus Nord Buds CE carry a price tag of Rs 2,299, and they are available to purchase on the OnePlus India e-store. These will also retail on Flipkart, where customers can avail 5 per cent cashback with a Flipkart Axis Bank card.

The OnePlus Nord Buds CE are available in Moonlight White and Misty Grey.

To recall, the OnePlus Nord Buds currently cost Rs 2,799 in India. OnePlus also sells more affordable OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 wireless earphones at Rs 1,999.

OnePlus Nord Buds CE specifications, design

In terms of design, the OnePlus Nord Buds CE heavily resemble Apple AirPods with a hard-case design and no silicone tips. The company is also returning to long-stem earbuds, as we saw on the original OnePlus Buds Z. The charging case dons an egg-shaped design and adopts the same colour as the earbuds. The inner portion of the case sports a darker tone to give a modern-minimalistic look.

In terms of specifications, the earbuds feature 13.4mm dynamic drivers with 20Hz to 20,000Hz frequency response. The OnePlus Nord Buds CE support Bluetooth 5.2, and users can connect them with an iPhone, Android, tablet, and any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. The company claims an audio range of 10 metres along with the standard AAC and SBC audio formats. Android users will get an advantage as they can tweak settings with the Hey Melody app. However, iOS users will not get this support.

Each earbud houses a 27mAh battery, while the charging case gets a 300mAh battery. The OnePlus Nord Buds CE are touted to offer up to 4.5 hours of listening time at 50 per cent volume when fully charged. The total music playback with the case is touted to be 20 hours.
