Oppo Reno 8 series has been launched in China. The company has launched three premium smartphones in the Reno 8 series. These include the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8. The three devices are expected to launch in India sometime next month. The Reno 8 Pro features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, which was launched a couple of days ago.
Oppo Reno 8 series specifications and features
Starting with the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, the phone is currently the most premium offering in the Reno 8 series. The phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM along with 256GB of internal storage. The Reno 8 series also gets the MariSilicon X NPU found in the more premium Find X5 Pro 5G.
The phone has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera sensor.
The Reno 8 Pro sits between the other two models. It has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The phone sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It has a triple-camera setup on the back. The camera sensors are the same as the Pro+ model. You get a 50MP 1/1.56” main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera.
The Reno 8 comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate support. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. The phone has a 50MP main camera and two 2MP sensors. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera.
All three Reno 8 series phones pack a 4500 mAh battery and support 80W fast charging out of the box. They also feature Android 12-based ColorOS 12.0.
Oppo Reno 8 series price
The Oppo Reno 8 price starts at CNY 2499 (roughly Rs 29,200) for the base 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models are priced at CNY 2699 (roughly Rs 32,500) and CNY 2999 (roughly Rs 35,000).
The Reno 8 Pro also arrives in the same storage configuration. The three storage options are priced at CNY 2999 (roughly Rs 35,000), CNY 3199 (roughly Rs 37,300) and CNY 3499 (roughly Rs 40,800).
The Reno 8 Pro+ arrives in two storage options - 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. Both models are priced at CNY 3699 (roughly Rs 43,200)and CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 46,700), respectively
