Moto G82 5G tipped to launch in India on June 9: Check specifications and expected price

It seems that Motorola is not done yet, as the company is launching new phones almost every week. It is now said to be planning to launch the Moto G82 5G smartphone, which was recently launched in the European market. While the company hasn’t yet given confirmation on when this Moto phone will arrive in India, tipster Yogesh Brar is claiming that the Moto G82 smartphone will be announced in India on June 9, which is just a few days away.

The Indian variant is expected to have specifications similar to the European model. Some of the key highlights of the device are a 5,000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 695 SoC, 120Hz display, and more. The Moto G82 5G is selling in the global market with a price tag of EUR 329.99, which is around Rs 26,500 in India when converted. But, it is expected to cost a little less in the Indian market.

The device could cost less than Rs 25,000. When the mid-range device was launched in Europe, the company did confirm that the same would also arrive in other markets like India. So, we do know that the Moto G82 will come to India and it could launch on the mentioned date.

Moto G82 5G: Specifications, features

In Europe, the Moto G82 5G comes with a 6.6-inch AMOLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz. It is now common to see support for high refresh rate displays even in the mid-range segment. So, the Indian model will also likely have. The device has a tried and tested Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, which has powered several phones, including the Poco X4 Pro 5G.

In terms of camera, there is a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera also has support for optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The device offers camera features such as burst shot, AR stickers, portrait mode, night vision, and more. On the front is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

The handset features a punch-hole display design and even has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Under the hood, there is a 5,000mAh battery unit that has support for 30W fast charging tech. The handset is also IP52 rated, which means it is dust and water-resistant. It ships with dual speakers that have support for Dolby Atmos as well.
