Oppo Pad with Snapdragon 870 SoC, support for Oppo Pencil Stylus launched: Price, specifications


After a series of leaks and speculations, Oppo has finally launched its first-ever tablet in the market. The Oppo Pad has been launched in the Chinese market. The tablet arrives with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and features an 11-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Oppo Pad also supports the Oppo Pencil Stylus that will also come with the device. Oppo is the latest smartphone company to launch a tablet in the market. Previously, Realme, Samsung, and Motorola had launched tablets in the market.
Oppo has not announced its plans to launch the tablet in the Indian market. It has currently been unveiled in the Chinese market only.

Oppo Pad: Price and availability

Oppo Pad has been launched in China at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 27,370) for the 6GB+128GB variant, while the 6GB+256GB is priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 32,160). The top-end variant 8GB and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 35,720). The tablet has been offered in two color options, including Black and Purple. Oppo had also launched a special Artist edition which is priced higher than the other two variants. The tablet is priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 41,700). India's availability of the tablet is not known yet.

Oppo Pad: Specifications

Oppo Pad features an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels. The display comes with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. It also supports HDR10. The Oppo Pad is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Oppo Pad runs on Android 11 out of the box and is based on ColorOS 12.

The Oppo Pad features a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. It houses an 8,360mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The Oppo Pad consists of a quad-speaker setup that is equipped with four 1.8-1.9cm independent sound chambers. The speakers support Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio.
