Micromax In 2c appears in Google Play's list of support devices, launch likely soon


Micromax In 2b and 2c appeared on the GeekBench Benchmarking website last year. While Micromax In 2b arrived soon after that, the Micromax In 2c didn't see the light of the day. Since then, the launch of the affordable Micromax In 2c is awaited. In a fresh report, the alleged device has been spotted in the Google Play list of supported devices, thus hinting towards an imminent launch.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared a screenshot of the listing where Micromax In 2C appears with model number E6533. The same model number was earlier spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Geekbench benchmarking site. The listing reveals that phone with Micromax In 2C moniker, Unisoc T610 chipset, 4GB of RAM and Android 11 OS. For those unaware, the Unisoc T610 is based on a 12nm manufacturing process and has two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and six A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz

The GeekBench listing that appeared in June 2021 showed the Micromax In 2c with similar specifications. The handset scored 347 in single-core and 1127 in multi-core tests. The camera, battery and other details of the phone are yet to be known.

Rumours suggest that Micromax In 2c will launch next month. It is likely to be an entry-level price that could be priced below Rs 10,000.

The Micromax In 2c is expected to be a sibling to the Micromax In 2b launched last year. So let’s take a look at the specs of this device. The Micromax In 2b sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It is powered by a Unisoc T610 octa-core SoC and paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The Micromax In 2c is equipped with a dual rear camera system including a 13-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel secondary lens. At the front, there’s a 5-megapixel camera for selfies at the front. The phone gets a 5000mAh battery and a capacitive fingerprint sensor for authentication.
