Tecno launches Pova Neo with 6000mAh battery in India at Rs 12,999

Tecno Pova Neo has been launched in India for Rs. 12,999. It will be available in a single 6GB+128GB storage variant and will go on the sale from January 22. The latest offering is the third device in the brand’s POVA lineup.

Tecno POVA Neo sports a 6.8-inch HD+ Dot Notch Display with a resolution of 1640 × 720 pixels with a 20.5:9 screen aspect ratio. It has a peak brightness of 480 nits and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. It has an 84.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with up to 2.0 GHz clock speed paired with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM along with 5GB expandable RAM with memory fusion technology.

The smartphone has an eMMC 5.1 internal storage capacity of 128GB expandable up to 512GB by an SD Card. It runs on HiOS v7.6 based on Android 11. The Tecno Pova Neo has a dual-rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary rear camera along with an f/1.8 lens and a quad LED flash. The smartphone also comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/1.8 lens and dual LED flash.

Tecno Pova Neo is powered by a large 6000 mAh battery that allows a 55 days standby time, 190 hours of music playback, and 43 hours of calling time. It supports 18W fast charging. It also comes with a splash resistant up to IPX2 rating to prevent water damage and has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity-wise the device has dual-SIM card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, OTG support, and a USB Type-C port. The device measures 171.39 × 77.25 × 9.1mm in terms of dimensions.

It comes in Geek Blue, Obsidian, and Powehi colour options.

Tecno is also confirmed to launch its first ever 5G smartphone Tecno Pova 5G this month in India. The smartphone is already available in the international market which was launched with features like MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, a 6,000 mAh battery, and 50-megapixel triple cameras.
