OnePlus 10 Pro may launch globally in March, including India: Everything you can expect

OnePlus started the year 2022 on a high note with the launch of their flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro in the company’s home market of China on January 11. A global launch of the smartphone is expected soon.

A China-first launch is not the usual model for OnePlus, however, we were tipped about this change by tipster Max Jambor when he shared this timeline back in November, which suggests the smartphone's global release will come in March/April.

This claim is backed up by leaker Yogesh Brar, who tweeted that the 10 Pro's global launch is coming in March, while also suggesting dates for the likes of the Nord N20, Nord CE 2, and some other OnePlus accessory products.

Specifications

The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch 2K Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 120Hz and an LTPO 2.0 panel. It has a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with up to LPDDR5 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by a 5000mAh battery supported by 80W SuperVOOC wireless charging, 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, and rear charging support. It runs on Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12.1.

In terms of camera, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 48 megapixel f/1.8 main camera, 50 megapixels f/2.2 ultra wide angle lens, and an 8 megapixel f/2.4 telephoto with optical zoom up to 2x. There is a 32 megapixel f/2.4 Primary camera on the front.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will come with three types of storage: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.

On the software side of things, the OnePlus 10 Pro has Android 12 built on ColorOS. Connectivity options on the OnePlus 10 Pro include dual stereo speakers, Mobile Hotspot, A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, and 5G.

OnePlus has revealed Volcanic Black and Emerald Green variants of the 10 Pro. It is IP68 water resistant and measures 8.55mm thick, and 163.0 x 73.9mm.

Price

While the OnePlus 10 Pro has only been launched in China we can only speculate the price of the smartphone in other markets including India.
