Poco C31 with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC launched , price starts at Rs 8,499


Poco has launched a new affordable smartphone Poco C31 in India. The smartphone succeeds the Poco C3 in the Indian market and is company’s first smartphone in the country in nearly two months. The Poco C31 was launched during an online event. The important features of the phone include a 5000mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G35 processor and triple rear cameras. The smarphone has been introduced in two colour variants - Royal Blue and Shadow Grey.
The Poco C31 price in India has been set at Rs 8,499 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will cost Rs 8,999. Both the variants can be bought for Rs 500 less as part of the launch offer. Poco is also giving 10 per cent instant discount on making the purchase using Axis Bank or ICICI Bank cards. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart starting October 2. The phone will be part of the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.

The Poco C31 features a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio. It is a 60Hz panel. Poco says its reading mode is TÜV Rheinland certified to reduce stain on your eyes. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 processor and comes with up to 4GB RAM. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 512GB using a micro SD card. Poco has equipped the C31 with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and the phone also supports Face unlock.

Poco is promising a clean UI experience on the Poco C31 with no ads.

The triple rear camera setup on the device includes a 13-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It packs a 5000 mAh battery which Poco claims to have customised for longevity. The new Poco smartphone competes with Realme CY21 and Oppo A16, among other smartphones.
