Amazon India's much-awaited festive event sale, ‘The Great Indian Festival’ (GIF) 2021 will start from October 4, 2021, the e-commerce major has announced. During the sale, Amazon will offer discounts, cashback, exchange offers, EMI offers and more on a range of gadgets and electronics.
To provide a glimpse of what to expect from the Amazon sale, the e-commerce giant has now put up a microsite. As mentioned on the webpage, Amazon will offer up to 40 per cent off on the best-selling smartphones. A similar discount will be observed on laptops, while discounts of up to 45 per cent will be available on tablets.
In addition, The Great Indian Festival 2021 sale will see discounted prices on accessories like smartwatches and headphones. On headphones and speakers, this discount will extend up to 80 per cent, while a discount of up to 60 per cent will be available on smartwatches and fitness trackers.
Amazon will also be offering discounts on its own product lineup during The Great Indian Festival 2021 sale. For instance, Echo smart devices and Fire TV devices will experience up to 50 per cent off. Kindle models will be up for sale at a discount of up to 21 per cent off. Additionally, buyers will be able to save some extra money through combo deals on these and smart home products.
Other than the discounts, The Great Indian Festival 2021 sale will offer additional cashback offers, extended no-cost EMI options, and additional warranties. Amazon will also offer 10 per cent discount to buyers using HDFC Bank debit cards, credit cards or EMI options.
Amazon Prime members will gain early access to the Great Indian Festival sale, though no date has been mentioned as of now. Amazon also plans to conduct several product launches throughout the sale. These products will be from companies like OnePlus, Xiaomi, Sony and others.
Those using Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card can avail 5 per cent reward points with Rs 750 as a joining bonus. A signup bonus of flat Rs 150 can also be availed on Amazon Pay Later subscription. Up to 10 per cent cashback of up to Rs 100 can be availed on shopping when using Amazon Pay UPI.
In addition, Amazon Business customers in India can avail exclusive offers, bulk discounts, lower festive price offers, cashbacks, rewards and more. Customers will save 28 per cent more with GST invoice on all transactions across categories like laptops, printers, networking devices, office electronics, vacuum cleaners etc. from top brands.
