Battlegrounds Mobile India has already touched 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store, but there is a large section of players that are distraught. Krafton has left out iPhone users from the initial wave of Battlegrounds Mobile launch. In its FAQ section, the company has mentioned that the iOS version is in the making but it does not have a particular date for the release. Notably, the release will follow the trial version, much like Android, but that is not the issue here. And there is no hope for Battlegrounds Mobile to arrive on the iPhone anytime soon.
The discourse in the Battlegrounds Mobile community in India is that Krafton has no update on when it will be able to release the game for iOS. Among the insiders with that intel are Abhijeet Andhare, aka Ghatak, and Kronten Gaming, who have both said that the iOS version of Battlegrounds Mobile India is going to take some more time. "How much time" is something that we do not know at this point.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is an Indian avatar of PUBG Mobile, which is why it is among popular battle royale games and there is a huge interest in it not just from Android users but also from people who use iPhones. Although iOS does not have an early access programme like Android, there is a TestFlight programme but it is not easy to enrol into. Krafton may take some more time to finesse the Battlegrounds Mobile India app for the iPhone.
