Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 to sport 120Hz punch-hole display, launch set for May 26



The new Redmi Note 10 5G series is all set to arrive on May 26. The brand has been continuously teasing about the details of this upcoming lineup. Courtesy to which we have a decent chunk of information about the upcoming devices. Now Redmi has released new posters detailing the key specs of the display. That being said, the number of devices launching tomorrow hasn’t been confirmed yet. Previously leaks say that the Redmi will introduce three new 5G devices.

These new posters revealed by the brand inform that the new Redmi Note 10 series will feature a 120Hz display with a centred punch hole camera. Besides this, we have also learnt there will be LCD displays with DCI-P3 colour gamut support.

Not to miss, Redmi is also touting a scalable refresh rate on these smartphones. As per Redmi, smartphones can switch between six different refresh rates. The refresh rate will stay between 24-60 fps while watching videos and switch to 50-120 fps while browsing or playing games. This is done in order to achieve better battery life on the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series of smartphones.

We have also found features like Vapour Chamber liquid cooling, NFC 3.0, Bluetooth 5.0 and X-axis linear motor. Redmi also showcased the Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G a few days ago. Through which we know that the upcoming Redmi Note 10 5G series will look almost similar to the current Note 10 lineup. The visible changes are made in the camera module that appears to be slightly wider, and the flash is placed differently. It also features a striped 3D texture on the rear. Xiaomi says that it allows for a better overall grip on this device.

This smartphone features a 6.53-inch display, and through the latest leak, we know that it will be an IPS LCD display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the smartphone will be powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 1100 SoC. It is an octa-core chipset built on a 6nm manufacturing process and coupled with Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. This device will come with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, the smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Leaks suggest that the vanilla variant of the Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G will be priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,000).Live TV
