Realme GT Neo Flash Edition brings 65W fast charging to GT Neo, launched at around Rs 26,000

Realme GT Neo Flash Edition is a fresh arrival to the company’s phone portfolio. But, make no mistake, this is a new phone just for the sake of it. That is because it is entirely the same as the Realme GT Neo that debuted in March, except for the battery charging technology that is a bit better on the former. Realme GT Neo Flash Edition comes with 65W fast charging technology, which is slightly faster than the 50W fast charging method that you get on the regular GT Neo, and that is your only difference between the two phones.

At an event in China, Realme launched the new GT-series phone, and even though it is uncannily similar to the GT Neo, it will serve as the third phone in the line-up. With this, the GT series now has the Realme GT 5G, the GT Neo, and the GT Neo Flash Edition. But all these phones are available only in China. In India, Realme is going to launch the X7 Max 5G on May 31, and rumours are rife that this phone is a rebranded GT Neo.

Realme GT Neo Flash Edition price
The Realme GT Neo Flash Edition costs much higher than what the regular GT Neo does. In China, the GT Neo Flash Edition starts at CNY 2,229 (roughly Rs 26,100) for the 8GB RAM version. It comes in Final Fantasy, Geek Silver, Hacker Black, and Dawn Leather colours.

Realme GT Neo Flash Edition specifications
The only difference between the GT Neo Flash Edition and GT Neo is the 65W fast charging on the former. That is why the rest of the specifications of the GT Neo Flash Edition are identical to those of GT Neo. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. You can add a microSD card to this phone to expand the storage. It runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out-of-the-box. There is a 4500mAh battery on the GT Neo Flash Edition with 65W fast charging. The phone sports a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Much like the Realme GT Neo, on the Realme GT Neo Flash Edition, you have a 64-megapixel main Sony IMX682 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor on the back. Realme ditched the fourth sensor on the GT Neo, which is also why the GT Neo Flash Edition has three of them, too. For selfies, the new GT Neo series phone comes with a 32-megapixel front camera in a punch-hole setup. You have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC, among other connectivity options on the GT Neo Flash Edition.
