Battlegrounds Mobile India, the much anticipated India specific version of PUBG, is yet to get a release date, but developer Krafton has been teasing aspects of the game for a while now.
The latest 15-second long video teaser shared on the game’s official Facebook and Twitter page shows an in-game item that players can find. It shows a level 3 backpack that is an essential part of the battle royale experience as it allows players to carry various items.
A level 3 backpack is the largest capacity backpack players can find in the game. Also, the backpack looks identical to the one in PUBG Mobile. Besides this, no other information about Battlegrounds Mobile India was shared in the teaser. The release date for the game is still a mystery.
Ahead of the launch, the publisher has released a couple of guidelines and rules, which would especially apply for gamers under the age of 18 years.
Meanwhile, in another tweet, Krafton has also announced that the Battleground Mobile India YouTube channel has crossed the threshold of 4 million subscribers ahead of the official launch of the game.
As per the rumours, BMI is tipped to be launched on June 10th or June 18th. In the latest development, content creator, Abhijeet Andhare aka Ghatak, has claimed that the company is planning to launch the game in the third week of June. However, there is no certainty about the launch date, and the company is yet to reveal anything officially.
Meanwhile, Battlegrounds Mobile India is currently up for pre-registration on Google Play Store. According to another teaser, Battlegrounds Mobile India will get the popular PUBG Erangel map. But it will be called “Erangle” on the Indian version of PUBG Mobile to avoid comparisons.
What Krafton is doing is trying to make Battlegrounds Mobile India retain every possible thing from PUBG Mobile without actually doing it explicitly. And even though this trick is supposed to make Battlegrounds Mobile low-profile, people in the government have already noticed it.
