Actress Hansika Motwani has wrapped up the shoot of her 50th film, Maha. The film, directed by UR Jameel, was supposed to release in summer this year. However, the shoot got delayed, due to the spread of Covid-19. Now, after a long break, the team has completed the shoot amid coronavirus scare.
Hansika took to Twitter to announce the same. She also thanked her co-star and friend STR, who has played a key role in the film.
Sharing pictures from the last day of shoot, Hansika wrote, "And it’s a wrap on my50th movie . It has been a great experience and I’m grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Thank you @Etceteraenter @malikstreams @dir_URJameel a special thanks to @silambarasanTRS #hansikas50th (sic)."
STR'S ROLE IN MAHA
STR will be playing the role of a pilot and will appear in the flashback portions of the movie. It is worth mentioning that Hansika and Simbu were in relationship a few years ago. Many were confident that it will end up in marriage. However, the couple called it quits due to irreconcilable differences.
Maha is their second film together after Vaalu, which released in 2015.Maha, which marks Hansika's 50th film, has Srikanth, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Nasser, Jayaprakash and Chaya Singh in important roles. Bankrolled by Mathi Azhagan, this film has music composed by Ghibran.
HANSIKA'S UPCOMING PROJECTS
Hansika Motwani was last seen in Telugu film Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, which starred Sundeep Kishan as the hero. There are reports that she will be signing a project with Dhanush. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
