Puri Jagannadh completes 20 years in films. Karan Johar congratulates him

It has been 20 years since Puri Jagannadh made his debut as a filmmaker in the Telugu film industry. His friend and business partner, Charmme Kaur, took to Twitter to share a fan-made poster that had photos of the 20 films he had directed.
Wishing Puri on this special day, Charmme wrote, "Celebrating #20yearsofpurijagan Many stronger years ahead. @purijagan @puriconnects (sic)."
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who has teamed up with Puri and Charmme for Fighter, took this opportunity to congratulate the director on this milestone. "Congratulations Puri Sir! Tremendous love and respect for your blockbuster journey! As reported earlier, Fighter is a Telugu and Hindi bilingual, jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur. The boxing-based film features Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles.
Before the nationwide lockdown was enforced, the entire team of Fighter was camping in Mumbai for the film's shoot. Cozy photos of Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday from the film's set in Mumbai were doing the rounds on social media.
Puri Jagannadh made his directorial debut in Telugu with Badri, which released in 2000. Some of his notable works include Pokiri, Chirutha, Businessman, Iddammayilatho, Temper and iSmart Shankar
