Angrezi Medium: Irrfan, Radhika Madan and team get together on video call for film's digital premiere

Didn't watch Irrfan's Angrezi Medium in the theatres? Fret not, you can watch it online now, as the team of Angrezi Medium has recently released it on Disney+Hotstar VIP. Irrfan had announced the news on social media this Monday. The film suffered a big loss at the box office at the time of its release in March as many theatres were shut due to the novel coronavirus pandemic back then. So naturally, it is a celebration time for the whole team.

While the Angrezi Medium squad is self-quarantining at their homes, they decided to communicate with each other via a video conference call on the occasion, as they all geared to watch the film online. And we came to know about it through Radhika Madan's Instagram handle.

Radhika, who essayed the lead role of Irrfan's daughter in Homi Adajania's directorial venture, shared a screenshot of their video call on the platform.

Apart from Radhika, the screenshot showed Pankaj Tripathi, Dinesh Vijan, Deepak Dobriyal, Homi Adajania, Kiku Sharda and Ranvir Shorey. Angrezi Medium collected Rs 4.03 crore on its first day at the ticket windows. The team had decided to re-release the film on March 31. However, as India is currently in a three-week-long nationwide lockdown amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Angrezi Medium could not be re-released.
