Coronavirus in India: 2 more positive cases in Gujarat take total to 7

Gujarat that registered its first two cases of novel coronavirus on Thursday has registered five new cases, taking the total to seven.
On Thursday, two cases, one each from Rajkot and Surat, were reported positive. By Friday morning, the state had reported three additional cases. Two fresh cases were added to the tally in the evening.
Maximum positive cases of Covid-19 in Gujarat have been reported in Ahmedabad (3), followed by two in Vadodara and one each in Surat and Rajkot.
"There are two more positive cases of Coronavirus in Gujarat. Total cases till now seven," tweeted the state Health and Family Welfare Department.
Novel coronavirus or Covid-19 has claimed over 9,000 lives across the world and has affected at least 2 lakh people across the globe. As per the latest data, India has registered 257 cases with four deaths.
On Thursday night, in an address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested the countrymen to stay indoors as much as possible. He has also urged the nation to observe a 14-hour-long Janata Curfew between 7 am and 9 pm on Sunday, March 22.
