Kangana Ranaut-starrer Panga got rave reviews from critics but is struggling to pull the crowd to theaters. The film released on January 24 and got a decent start by minting Rs 2.7 crore.
It witnessed growth in collections during the first weekend by earning Rs 5.61 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.6 crore on Sunday. However, it failed the first Monday test and earned just Rs 1.65 crore. Since then, the film's collections are steady at the box office. Until Thursday, Panga had earned Rs 21.36 crore in total.
The film is expected to collect Rs 2 crore Friday. Panga has been helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and tells the story of a housewife named Jaya Nigam (Kangana) who wants to make a comeback in the world of sports.
The film stars Jassie Gill as Jaya's husband and Neena Gupta as her mother.
Richa Chadha plays Jaya's best friend who is also a Kabaddi coach. Child artist Yagya Bhasin plays the role of Jaya's son in the film.

With Saif Ali Khan's Jawaani Jaaneman hitting the silver screens on January 31, the collections of Panga are likely to be affected.
