Saif Ali Khan and Alaya F-starrer Jawaani Jaaneman hit the silver screens on Friday. The film has been directed by Nitin Kakkar.
On the first day of its release, Jawaani Jaaneman is expected to earn around Rs 2.5 crore. Saif essays the role of a playboy whose life changes when his teenage daughter (Alaya) knocks at the door. Alaya makes Saif realize of his responsibilities and helps him become a well-rounded human.

Our reviewer, Vibha Maru rated the film 2.5 out of 5. She wrote, "Director Nitin Kakkar's Jazz is what a Jai or Gautam would look like at 40. He is still the immature, party-loving guy who refuses to grow up, and needs a 21-year-old daughter out of wedlock to make him come to terms with his reality.
Make no mistake, this isn't a typical Bollywood film where he has a sudden change of heart the moment he finds about his daughter. Jazz refuses to budge. Right after he gets to know that Tia (Alaya Furniturewala) is his daughter, he asks her to leave and go stay with her mother. The film also stars Kubbra Sait and marks Pooja Bedi's daughter Alaya's Bollywood debut.
Two big films - Street Dancer 3D and Panga - are already running in theatres. While Street Dancer earned Rs 56.77 crore, Panga earned Rs 21.36 crore till Thursday.
Saif Ali Khan-starrer Jawaani Jaaneman is likely to face stiff competition from both these films
