Hrithik Roshan reviews Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior: Best action ever

It's been weeks since the release of Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, but the praises for the film are still coming in. Hrithik Roshan is the latest to applaud the film. The War actor took to social media to review the film.

In a tweet, Hrithik Roshan wrote, "Just watched #Tanhaji what an incredible movie. The best action ever. @ajaydevgn and Kajol take a bow! Saif is just brilliant. The entire cast/crew needs applause for this massive effort! @Officialneha u were superb. What a film (sic)."

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a film based on the life of Taanaji Malusare, a soldier in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Maratha army. Ajay Devgn played the titular role, while Kajol was seen as his wife Savitribai Malusare. Saif Ali Khan 's performance in the role of the Mughal fort keeper Udaybhan Rathor is one of the highlights of the film.

The film received a mixed response from film critics. However, it is receiving much love at the box office. The film has crossed the Rs 200-crore mark and is still collecting good numbers. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is being lauded for its CGI and action.

Being a historical drama, the film has been declared tax-free in several states in the country. Earlier Uttar Pradesh and Haryana declared it tax-free, which was followed by Maharashtra. The film was released on January 10 along with Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak. While the Meghna Gulzar film received better critical acclaim, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior came out as the box office king.
