Vivo X90 series likely to launch next week: Check out confirmed features
The Vivo X90 is expected to launch next week. While the company hasn’t yet revealed the launch date of its upcoming flagship phone, the leaked promo video shows that the new Vivo phone will arrive on November 22. It is quite surprising to see that Vivo is releasing its next generation of flagship smartphone just six months after the launch of the Vivo X80.

Its predecessor made its debut in China back in April this year and the company is now gearing up to announce a new version. The Vivo X90 is also expected to make its way to the Indian market, considering all the previous versions were unveiled in this country too. The Vivo X80 was launched in India just one month after its debut in China.

It is currently unknown whether the company will announce the Vivo X90 in India next month or in the coming weeks. Just like the older versions, this one too will be targeting camera enthusiasts. The Vivo X80 series has already proved to be a great photography smartphone and the company is planning to launch a better version of it.

Vivo will likely announce two models – one standard and a Pro version. While the details about the regular version are unknown, the details about the Vivo X90 Pro have surfaced online. It is said to come with a quad camera setup at the back, which the leak says will include a Sony IMX989 primary chipset. It will be backed by a custom Vivo V2 ISP chip for faster processing, improved low light photo, and overall better photography.

Some of the camera samples that the company has shared show that the Vivo X80 Pro is capable of delivering DSLR-like photos with great dynamic range, colour contrast with plenty of details and well-balanced exposure. But, we would like to test the quality of the camera by ourselves and see if this is actually the case.

The Vivo X90+ has previously been spotted on Geekbench, which suggested that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It could be backed by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The leaks so far claim that the handset will have a massive 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, which will refresh at 144Hz. Under the hood, we could get to see a 4,700mAh battery.
