Moto G72 launched in India with 108MP triple rear camera system: Check price and other details


Motorola has launched yet another smartphone in India the Moto G72. This is a budget offering from the brand and is aimed at those who want most of the premium features at a lower price. The Moto G72 has a pOLED 120Hz HDR10+ display, a 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charge, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmost and more. However, this one features a 4G chipset, which means that those who will buy this Motorola phone won’t be able to use 5G network, which will be available in India in the coming weeks.
The Moto G72 price in India starts from Rs 18,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. But, the new Motorola phone will be on sale at a lower price, as part of the launch. The Moto G72 will be available at an effective price of Rs 14,999. There is a Rs 1,000 discount offer on select bank cards and an additional Rs 3,000 off on exchange for your current phone. Moto G72: Specifications, features
The newly launched Moto G72 comes with a 6.6-inch pOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. The panel operates at Full HD+ resolution. The 10-bit screen has support for 576Hz touch sampling rate and HDR 1+ certification for high-end video streaming. The Moto G72 has a pretty bright and vibrant display, which will make for a great content viewing experience. This one has a typical design. One gets a punch-hole display design and a triple camera setup at the back.

The Moto G72 features a slim profile and even has a pretty lightweight design, which makes it easier to use the phone with one hand. The rear panel is quite slippery, so users will have to use a case to avoid accidental drops. The 4G phone even has an IP52 rating for protection against water splashes and dust.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Under the hood is a 5,000mAh battery. The company has provided support for 33W fast charging too. The Moto G72 will be sold in two colours, Meteorite Grey and Polar Blue. There are dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.

In terms of optics, there are three cameras at the back and the setup includes a 108-megapixel main Samsung HM6 camera. It is backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.
