Moto X30 Pro launching on August 2 with flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

The Moto X30 Pro is all set to launch in China on August 2, alongside the Moto Razr 2022. The company has confirmed the launch event via its official handle on Weibo. Ahead of the launch, Motorola has confirmed a few key features of the upcoming Moto phone and the rest of the details have already been leaked online.

At the moment, there is no word on the India launch of the Moto X30 Pro. It is being said that the device could launch as Moto Edge X30 Ultra in the global market. We might get some confirmation on this after China launch. So, those who are interested in this smartphone will have to wait for some time to know more about when this one could arrive in other regions, including India.

The company has confirmed that the Moto X30 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-notch Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is powering several flagship phones in 2022. The device is also confirmed to come with 125W fast charging support. The rest of the details will be revealed soon.

The leaks so far claim that the Moto X30 Pro will come with a 6.73-inch pOLED screen with support for 144Hz refresh rate. The device will feature a punch-hole display design, similar to Samsung phones. The Snapdragon chip will be backed by up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storages

Under the hood, one will find a 4,500mAh battery and the company is expected to ship a 125W fast charger with the phone. The Moto X30 Pro is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box. As for photography, there could be a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. On the front, one will find a 60-megapixel selfie camera.

The price and availability details of the Moto X30 Pro will be revealed on August 2. The Moto X30 is already selling in China for RMB 3,199, which is around Rs 38,000 in India when converted. Since the Moto X30 Pro has a flagship chip, it will likely be made available in the higher price range.
