OnePlus Nord 2T is set to launch in the global market on May 19. Ahead of the official launch, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has confirmed some details about the OnePlus Nord 2T. In the latest revelation, OnePlus said that the upcoming Nord smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset.
That said, the OnePlus Nord 2T will be the first smartphone with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset. The smartphone will succeed the OnePlus Nord 2, which was launched in India earlier this year. The Nord 2T is tipped to be an upgraded version of Nord 2 that comes with MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 is a refreshed version of the Dimensity 1200-AI SoC but is still a 6nm chip. It has four Cortex-A78 cores, four A55 cores, and a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
OnePlus Nord 2T specifications (expected)
Ahead of the official launch, the smartphone manufacturer has confirmed several other details about the OnePlus Nord 2T. The smartphone will come with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging, which OnePlus claims can offer a full day’s charge in just 15 minutes of charging. It is likely to be backed by a 4,500mAh battery.
Rumours and leaks have also revealed some key details about the OnePlus Nord 2T. It is tipped that the smartphone will come packed with a 6.43-inch full HD AMOLED display with a 90hz refresh rate. On the software front, the phone is tipped to launch with OxygenOS 12.1 with Android 12 out-of-the-box.
Leaks also suggest that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will include a huge 50-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
OnePlus Nord 2T price (expected)
On May 19, the OnePlus Nord 2T will go official in Europe. Reports suggest that the smartphone will hit the Indian market a few weeks after its global release.
The price of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T is yet to be revealed. However, it is likely to be more or less similar to its predecessor. The OnePlus Nord 2 starts at a price of Rs 27,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The other two models, including 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 128GB RAM + 256GB storage come at a price of Rs 29,999 and Rs 34,999, respectively.
