PUBG: New State release date announced, trailer for Krafton's next battle royale now out

PUBG: New State is coming to your Android phone and iPhone on November 11. In its new trailer, jam-packed with futuristic weapons, vehicles, and a host of exciting battle royale elements, for PUBG: New State, Krafton has announced the new game will be available in 200 countries, including India, simultaneously. The announcement comes days after Krafton began alpha and beta testing of PUBG: New State with a handful of players.
“PUBG: New State inherits the core of the PUBG IP and will have a competitiveness in and of itself on the global market,” said Krafton CEO CH Kim, in a statement. “Krafton will continue to produce games that will be enjoyed by players across the world. We're committed to offering an expanded experience based on the belief that games will become the most powerful type of media.”

Krafton’s PUBG universe is expanding with not just new maps and new ways to kill enemies in the game, but also with how wide the assortment of weapons will be at the players’ disposal. Set in the year 2051, PUBG: New State will give players the option to use things like a drone to spot enemies and end them. PUBG: New State is not a sequel to the existing PUBG Mobile aka Battlegrounds Mobile India, but it previews what lies ahead in the PUBG universe. It is also likely to set the platform for Krafton’s upcoming games based on Battle Royale. In fact, Krafton is claiming PUBG: New State will offer a PC-like experience on a smartphone, so people who have played Playerunknown's Battlegrounds - which is the name for the PC version of PUBG Mobile - know what they are in for.

PUBG: New State has to undergo a final trial ahead of the launch. Krafton said that there will be a final technical test in 28 countries between October 29 and October 30. That seems like a dry run that Krafton is conducting to make sure the rollout goes smoothly. Krafton's previously-launched games, such as Battlegrounds Mobile India, went through a similar process, as well.

Krafton is also introducing its very effective anti-cheat system to PUBG: New State. Sangwan Kim, head of the anti-cheat unit at PUBG Studios, said there will be a ban on the use of unauthorised programmes, emulators, keyboards, and mouse units in the game. The system will detect and restrict any hacks that players may be using to gain an unfair victory in the game. Much like how Krafton scrutinises accounts for PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India, it will also check players for how fairly they play games. It is possible that illegal accounts will get banned.
