Motorola has made the Moto G50 5G official. After several leaks and reports, Motorola has launched the Moto G50 5G in Australia. The smartphone has been launched with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. This is the second Motorola phone to come with a Meditek processor. Motorola had previously launched the Edge 20 Fusion with MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G. The Moto G 5G comes with 5G support, a huge 5000mAh battery and NFC support.
Motorola has been quite on a launching spree. The Lenovo-owned smartphone company made the Moto Edge 20 series official in Indian and the European markets a couple of days ago. Motorola launched the Moto Edge 20, Moto Edge 20 Lite and Moto Edge 20 Pro. However, in India, only two models were released— Moto Edge 20 and the Moto Edge 20 Fusion, which is rebranded version of Moto Edge 20 Lite. The company is now rumoured to launch the Moto Edge 20 Pro in India as well. Coming back to the Moto G50 5G, the smartphone has only been made official in the Australian markets. The company has not shared its plans of launching the device in India and other markets. Let us take a look at the price and key specs of the Moto G50 5G.
Moto G50 5G: Price and availability
Moto G50 5G has been launched in Australia at AUD 399 (roughly Rs. 21,500) for the single 4GB+128GB storage variant. The smartphone will be available in Meteorite Grey colour option and it can be purchased from the official website of Lenovo. Motorola has not revealed whether the smartphone will be launched in India or not.

Moto G50 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ with a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels and 269ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expandable using a microSD card. Moto G50 5G runs on Android 11 out of the box.
Moto G50 5G features a triple camera setup on the rear which consists of a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Om the front, there is a 13-megapixel camera for selfies.
The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The smartphone comes with a 10W charger inside the box.
