Tecno Spark 7 Pro launched with 90Hz smooth display, 5000mAh battery, starts at Rs 9,999

Tecno has launched the Spark 7 Pro smartphone in India. It is a new addition to the Spark 7 series that brings a 90Hz display onboard. Tecno is a brand from China’s Transsion Holdings that also sells smartphones under Itel and Infinix in India and other markets. Tecno, much like the other two brands, has a strong offline presence while its online presence is also growing. The reason behind that is the kind of smartphones that are often big on specifications as far as the price is concerned.

The Tecno Spark 7 Pro, for instance, brings a big display that has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a big 5000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver a standby time of 34 days. The biggest issue Android folks face is with their phone’s battery and Tecno Spark 7 Pro aims to veer away from that, at least theoretically. There are several other specifications on the Tecno Spark 7 Pro that make it a good budget phone.

Tecno Spark 7 Pro price
The Tecno Spark 7 Pro comes in two configurations; the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version costs Rs 9,999, while the one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of memory costs Rs 10,999. There is a 10 per cent discount on using SBI credit card and credit card EMI payment options, after which the base model will cost you Rs 8,999 while the other one will be priced at Rs 9,900. The Spark 7 Pro will be available in Alps Blue, Spruce Green, and Magnet Black colours on Amazon starting May 28.

Tecno Spark 7 Pro specifications
The Tecno Spark 7 Pro is a budget smartphone that comes with some good specifications. The phone has a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a teardrop style notch on the top. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate, which means scrolling, gaming, and other things will look smooth. The phone uses 3D aesthetics on the back, which I think gives it an arresting look. The Tecno Spark 7 Pro comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor inside, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. You get 64GB of storage onboard, but you can expand that using a microSD card.

On the back, the camera system includes a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI camera, the resolution of which is not available. Tecno said the main camera can shoot professional-grade videos at 2K QHD resolution. You have a bunch of camera filters and modes on the phone. For selfies, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera. The best thing here is that you get dual flashes for the selfie camera. There is an eye-tracking feature, as well. The Tecno Spark 7 Pro comes with facial recognition and a fingerprint sensor on the back for authentication.

Keeping the lights on the Tecno Spark 7 Pro is a 5000mAh battery, which the company touts can deliver a standby time of up to 34 days, 35 hours of calling time, 14 hours’ web browsing, 7 days of music playback, 15 hours’ game playing and 23 hours’ video playback. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, among other connectivity options.
