Oppo A53 gets India price cut, now available starting at Rs 10,990



The Oppo A53 has received a price cut of up to Rs 2,500 in India. The mid-range smartphone was launched in India back in August last year. It came in two variants, the base model with 4GB RAM/64GB storage at a starting price of Rs 12,990, the top-end model with 6GB RAM/128GB storage came for Rs 15,490.

After the price cut of Rs 2,000, the 4GB/64GB variant is available for Rs 10,990 Whereas, the other variant now ships for Rs 12,900, whose price has been slashed by Rs 2,500.

The Oppo A53 gets a rectangular camera module on the rear that houses a triple camera setup. Besides this, the rear of the smartphone also features a capacitive fingerprint scanner. Whereas on the front, it sports a punch-hole camera placed on the top left corner of the device. 91 Mobiles first reported the India price cut of Oppo A53.

As far as the specs of the Oppo A53 are concerned, the smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is also protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3.

Moving further, the Oppo A53 is powered by a Snapdragon 460 SoC. It is an octa-core chipset built on an 11nm manufacturing process and clocked at 1.8GHz. This is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

In the camera department, the Oppo A53 sports a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies on the front.

The Oppo A53 brings support for dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition to that, the Oppo A53 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Finally, the device is powered by Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 on top.
