WhatsApp Happy Holi stickers, how to download, add, and share with friends and family

It has been almost a year since lockdown which began on March 23rd, 2020, just a couple of weeks after Holi. This year’s Holi will be celebrated under the guise of the Covid-19 pandemic. Though the recent surge in Covid-19 cases seems to be dampening the spirit of Holi and it will force most people to be confined within their homes due to lockdown measures in several states.

However, like always we will be wishing our friends and family for Holi, this time though WhatsApp has launched a fresh batch of fun, interesting and interactive stickers for Android and iOS phones that be easily downloaded and send across family, friends, and loved ones on Holi to stay connected and wish each other a Happy Holi.

Here’s how you can download the Holi stickers on your Whatsapp:

1. Go to the WhatsApp Stickers section by clicking the emoji icon on the left side of the chat bar and opening the stickers option from the bottom (one on the right).

2. Then press the ‘+’ icon on the right corner which will direct you to the sticker library. Then keep scrolling till you find the ‘Get more stickers’ option and then tap on it.

3. If there are no Holi stickers, scroll to the bottom, and click 'Get More Stickers,' with a Play Store Logo.

4. This will take you to Google Play Store on your phone. Here you can search for Holi-themed stickers with the keywords ‘Holi WhatsApp Stickers' or 'WhatsApp Stickers for Holi.’

5. Once downloaded, finish the installation by clicking on the option - 'Add to WhatsApp’.

We tried our hands at the Holi Sticker app by Codinger IT Solution. The app offers a wide choice of 25 Holi-themed stickers. There are stickers to fit the taste of every age group. From coloured greetings of Happy Holi to water guns splashing the words Happy Holi. The app even has some bhaang themed stickers celebrating the festive mood.

Another app we tried was Holi Stickers for WhatsApp by AMALI. This app offers a selection of 15 beautifully designed Holi-themed stickers. It includes stickers styled like rangolis, water guns as well as colours, all central themes of this festival of colour.
