Realme Watch S Pro, Watch S, Buds Air Pro Master Edition to launch today: Everything to know

Realme Watch S, Watch S Pro, and Buds Air Pro Master Edition are set to launch in India today. Realme has scheduled a digital event for later today where it will announce the launch of these products. This could be the company’s last event of this year where the company will expand its AIoT portfolio it bullishly talked about earlier this year. The three new products are a part of the 1+4+N strategy that the company announced. The Realme launch event begins at 12.30 pm and will be live-streamed on YouTube. The new Realme products expand the two categories, one of which the company introduced earlier this year. Realme launched the Realme Watch back in March but a major upgrade over it is coming in December. The smartwatch will have a circular dial with markings for minutes. This is quite different from the square design that the previous version came with. Realme is also touting waterproof capabilities, dual-satellite GPS support, heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, and multiple workout modes on the new smartwatch pair. Realme Watch S Pro will have an AMOLED display and a 14-day battery life. It is, however, unlikely to come running Wear OS unlike the Oppo Watch.

The Realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition is a stylised version of the Buds Air Pro that was launched a few months back. However, the first model in this category was launched last year. Interestingly, the Realme Buds Air from last year supports wireless charging but it seems the Buds Air Pro Master Edition does not bring that feature. However, the Realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition is likely to come with the active noise cancellation feature that was introduced with the vanilla version of the earbuds. The only likely difference between the Realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition and the Buds Air Pro is the colour.

The former will come in the metallic grey colour with a shiny finish while the latter is available in white and black colourways. There is probably no other difference between the two pairs of earbuds. Realme has said this new design is created by French designer Jose Levy. who also looks after Realme’s Design Studio and worked with the company for the Buds Q. The design of the Realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition is inspired by space capsules and sci-fi, which is why the charging case looks like a miniature version. The earbuds borrow the stem design with cobblestone-like pods but in the new grey colour. The silicone tips are in black colour but since these are not going to be visible on wearing, the colour does not matter.

I reviewed the Buds Air Pro and found them decent enough for the price but felt that the design needs a change because the pod slips out of the ear way too easily. The active noise cancellation works fine but the fitting is what makes it ineffective. Because of these many things, I wrote that buying the Oppo Enco W51 earbuds over Realme Buds Air Pro is a sensible choice. I am eager to know if the Buds Air Pro Master Edition will change my opinion.

The prices of the three products are not available right now but the company will announce them at the launch event scheduled for later today. Realme will also detail the availability details of the Watch S, Watch S Pro, and Buds Air Pro Master Edition.
