Baby Yoda travels to space with SpaceX astronauts. Twitter can't get enough of viral video

SpaceX recently launched its first operational commercial crew mission with four astronauts on board to the International Space Station (ISS) from NASA's Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. The astronauts - Michael S Hopkins, Shannon Walker and Victor J Glover of NASA, and Soichi Noguchi, a Japanese astronaut - will stay there until spring.
However, one particular video of the launch is currently the internet's favourite, and it features Baby Yoda. Yes, you read that right.Baby Yoda, from The Mandalorian, who won hearts with his cuteness, travelled with the four SpaceX astronauts. A stuffed toy of the adorable character was sent into space on SpaceX's second-ever crewed flight.

Video of the Baby Yoda toy bouncing alongside the four astronauts has gone viral on Twitter. The toy can also be seen in a live-stream posted by NASA on YouTube.
The official Twitter account of NASA had also shared a video of the four astronauts entering ISS in which one can take a glimpse at the Baby Yoda toy as Soichi Noguchi enters ISS. The plush toy bounced in the air as the astronauts greet each other. After the clips went viral, netizens flooded the micro-blogging site with several comments, gushing over the Baby Yoda toy.
This isn't the first time that astronauts have brought toys with themselves to the space. Stuffed toys are often used as indicators for gravity by astronauts.

This launch, known as Crew-1, is a regularly scheduled trip to take four crew members for a six-month stay at the space station. This is the first of what NASA calls operational flights of the Crew Dragon. The next crewed mission is expected to blast off at the end of March 2021, carrying one European, one Japanese and two American crew members.
