Thalapathy Vijay's fans take internet by storm as Mersal turns 3

Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Akkineni and Nithya Menen-starrer Mersal completed three years of release today (October 18). On the special occasion, Hema Rukmani, the producer of the film, took to Twitter to release a fan-made poster and thanked fans for making it a blockbuster.

ATLEE'S SECOND FILM WITH VIJAY

The film, which released in 2017, was directed by Atlee. It was his second film with Vijay after Theri. It not only won him accolades but also helped to win the love of Vijay fans. The hastag #3YearsOfMegaBBMersal is trending on Twitter as fans are sharing their favourite scenes and stills from the film.

Hema Rukmani of Thenandal Films, wrote, "Celebrating 3 Years of Blockbuster #Mersal With A Special Common DP From Kerala Online Vijay Fans (sic).More than 50 women celebrities from different walks of life came together to launch the project. The film is touted to be a women-centric thriller, which talks about violence against women and the issues they face in the society.
