The Supreme Court's verdict in the Sushant Singh Rajput's family vs Rhea Chakraborty death case will be out today. Ahead of the SC verdict, Ankita Lokhande took to Twitter and wrote that she is 'waiting' for justice to be delivered. The SC verdict will be out by 11 am today.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande met on the sets of the show Pavitra Rishta. The two dated for several years before calling it quits in 2016.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. The Mumbai Police declared his death a case of suicide and began investigating.

A virtual prayer meet was organised on August 15 by Sushant Singh Rajput's family, to remember the late actor on two months of his death. Ankita Lokhande and Kriti Sanon had also joined the spiritual prayer meet.

Meanwhile, today will be the fourth hearing in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. In the first hearing on August 5, the Centre had told the Supreme Court that they have accepted the recommendation of the Bihar government to transfer the case to the CBI. However, the CBI needs the Supreme Court’s nod to investigate the case in Maharashtra.

On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty, her family, Samuel Miranda and Shruti Modi at Rajiv Nagar Police Station in Patna. On the basis of the complaint, an FIR was registered by the Patna police and they began investigating. The Mumbai Police, on the other hand, had filed an Accidental Death Report on June 14 and were already investigating the case.
