Realme 7 unboxing video out ahead of launch, reveals specifications, design

Realme 7 and 7 Pro are launching on September 3 in India and there is already enough information on their specifications, thanks to various leaks. Now a new unboxing video has emerged that shows the Realme 7 in its entirety ahead of the launch. What comes additionally through this video is the set of specifications that are shown off on the Realme 7 display. It has everything that you may need to figure out what sort of a device Realme 7 is going to be and whether it will be worth your expectations. But since the price is a big deciding factor, you might as well wait for the launch. Until then, let us see what the unboxing video has brought to us.

The unboxing video has been posted on YouTube by a channel that goes by "Mix with Remix". It shows there will be a USB-C cable and a 30W fast charger in the retail box, besides the Realme 7 handset. Realme 7 has a design similar to the what Oppo F17 Pro has, going by the teasers. There is a rectangular island on the back of the Realme 7 that has four cameras and the LED flash. Realme usually goes for interesting designs on its smartphones and Realme 7 may have one of those. There is are two patterns at the back, divided by a line on the left. On the front, the display carries a single punch-hole on the top left and there is a camera inside of it. The power button has the fingerprint sensor on the Realme 7.

Coming to the specifications, the Realme 7 has a 90Hz Ultra Smooth display. The size of the display has not been revealed through the specifications page on the device. What else is not known is whether this is an OLED panel or an LCD. Rumours were rife that there is going to be an OLED panel on the Realme 7. But whether both of them will feature the OLED panel or just one of them is something that is not clear, at least from the unboxing video. The video shows the Realme 7 has 8 gigs of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There could be more memory variants but at least one of them is confirmed. The Realme 7 is apparently running the MediaTek Helio G95 processor, which has been tipped previously in rumours.

In terms of photography, the Realme 7 has a 64-megapixel primary camera with the Quad Bayer technology. The specifications of the rest of the three cameras are not known but they will likely be different than what the Realme 7 Pro will feature. And finally, the Realme 7 has a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W charging. Realme has been teasing 65W SuperDart fast charging for its Realme 7 series but, guess, it is reserved for the Pro model only. The charger is already given in the box on the Realme 7 but I am not sure whether Realme 7 Pro will come with a 65W charger out of the box.

The video also hints at the price of the Realme 7. Making the job easy for us is the tweet by @heyitsyogesh who translated the video to figure out what the Realme 7 could cost. According to his tweet, the Realme 7 will be priced between Rs 17,000 and Rs 18,000. This price is in line with what the Realme 6 Pro costs in India, meaning the Realme 7 Pro could be the most expensive number series smartphone by far. Anyhow, we will know more about the Realme 7 series on the day of its official launch, i.e., September 3.
