HMD Global is expected to launch at least three new smartphones at the IFA 2020 event in Berlin in September. These smartphones are likely Nokia 2.4, Nokia 6.3, and Nokia 7.3 that will be the highlights of the event. But there could be a fourth device as well, a new listing on Geekbench has revealed. The company could be working on the Nokia C2's successor, the Nokia C3.

Nokia C3 has been spotted on the benchmarking website (via 91Mobiles), which means it should launch soon. Some of the key specifications of the Nokia C3 have also been revealed by the listing, including a Unisoc processor with eight cores and a maximum clock speed of 1.20GHz. But the listing shows GamoraPlus as the chipset, which is not quite clear is which variant. Additionally, a previous listing on Geekbench showed Gamora Plus is the name for HMD Global's fourth device and not a processor. In any case, the two listings on Geekbench could be hinting at the same device - Nokia C3.

The Nokia C3 could come with 3GB of RAM according to the updated listing but an earlier version showed there would be 2 gigs of RAM, which could mean two storage variants. The smartphone will run Android 10 but it is not clear if it will be Android One or Android Go since C-series is entry-level and the C2 runs on Android 9 Pie (Go edition). While the rest of the specifications are not clear, the listing reveals the scores of the Nokia C3. It got 805 points in the single-core test and 3430 points in the multi-core test. The listing was uploaded on July 31.

HMD Global's C-series is suited for the entry-level. Its Nokia C2, launched in March 2020, came with specifications such as a 5.7-inch HD+ display, dual cameras, and a Unisoc processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Nokia C2 sports a 5-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There is a 2800mAh battery powering the smartphone. The Nokia C3 is likely to be a minor upgrade over the Nokia C2. This also means the price of the Nokia C2 could be a little more than what the Nokia C2 costs. Nokia C2 has not been launched in India yet but it is available in Middle-eastern and African markets.
