MS Dhoni returns to organic farming, sows seeds at Ranchi farmhouse

With cricketing activities suspended in India due to the Covid-19 threat, former India skipper MS Dhoni has kept himself busy by taking up his hobbies in the lockdown period. Though the wicketkeeper-batsman has stayed away from social media in this time, his wife Sakshi Dhoni and a host of other fan pages have been posting pictures and videos of MS Dhoni from his Ranchi farmhouse.

In a recent video posted by a fan page, MS Dhoni was seen driving a tractor and plowing the field in his farmhouse. As seen in earlier videos, it seems like Dhoni has been learning organic farming to make most of his time away from the cricketing field.

In an old video posted by Dhoni on his Facebook page from his sabbatical days, he had said that he was learning organic farming of watermelon in Ranchi followed by papaya in 20 days. And now with the suspension of IPL and other cricketing activities, it looks like the CSK skipper is getting enough time to hone his skills.

MS Dhoni, who has not played international cricket since India's semi-final exit from the 2019 World Cup, was supposed to return to the cricketing field in March with the start of IPL 2020. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the cash-rich league has been put on indefinite hold by the BCCI,

After not playing for India for nearly a year now, speculations remain that MS Dhoni is most likely would not return to the national side. However, Sakshi Dhoni has often rubbished such retirement rumors on social media nor India's most successful skipper so far has dropped any hints about his retirement.
