OnePlus 7 Pro

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T smartphones have reportedly started to receive a new OxygenOS update that brings a host of new features, including Dolby Atmos support for the new OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones, as well as the ability to record 720p videos at up to 960fps slow-motion.

Apart from this the update also brings support for the Epic Games store in Game Space for the Indian market and updates the phone to the Android security patches for May 2020 among other updates.

The update also promises to optimize the volume adjustment to improve user experience and also improves the battery life user experience. It also fixes general issues and claims to improve system stability. The camera app also gets “stain detection” with the update which essentially notifies the user in case the phone's lens is dirty.

The new features come to the phone after these were previously seen as part of a recent build of the Oxygen OS Open Beta program for both the 7T and 7T Pro. The update is being rolled out to users in a phased manner, and users notified once it's ready for them. However, if you wish to check for the update manually, you can head to Settings, then System and from there System updates.

Of the two phones getting the update, it's definitely the OnePlus 7T Pro that's the more interesting one. To remind our readers, the OnePlus 7T Pro comes with a 90Hz display that's 6.67-inch in size and offers QHD+ resolution and HDR10+ (3120x1440 screen resolution).

The OnePlus 7T Pro includes three cameras on the rear panel and a single image sensor for selfies on the front. The OnePlus 7T Pro comes with Sony 48MP IMX586 sensor with a 7P lens structure, f1.6 aperture, and OIS. The secondary camera uses a 16MP ultrawide angle lens with a 117-degree field of view. Lastly, the third is an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom at an aperture of F2.4 and OIS support. The OnePlus 7T Pro includes Super macro mode and Nightscape mode on the camera app itself. It also supports HIS (Hybrid image stabilization) so users can shoot smoother and stable video. On the front, the OnePlus 7T Pro includes a 16MP pop-up selfie shooter.
