Ajay Devgn remembers dad Veeru on his first death anniversary: I can feel you beside me

Today, Ajay Devgn remembered his father Veeru Devgan on his first death anniversary. The Golmaal actor shared a montage of Veeru's pictures with him.

In the video, we can see glimpses of Ajay's precious moments with his late father, while somber piano music plays in the background. Ajay captioned the post as, "Dear Dad, it’s a year since you left. However, I can feel you beside me—quiet, caring, protective; your presence is forever reassuring \

Last year, on Teacher's Day, Ajay shared a childhood picture with Veeru, thanking him for all the life lessons. He wrote, "My Father, My Guru. He gave me invaluable life lessons #HappyTeachersDay (sic)."

Veeru Devgan, a popular stunt choreographer, and action director, breathed his last on May 27, 2019, due to cardiac arrest. Veeru was known for his work in films like Mr. Natwarlal, Himmatwala, Ek Khiladi Bawan Pattey, Dilwale, Phool Aur Kaante, Shahenshaah, Jigar, Dil Kya Kare and more.

He directed Ajay in his directorial debut Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999). The film also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Manisha Koirala.
