Abhishek Bachchan's first stage performance with dad Amitabh has a Sanjay Dutt connection

Abhishek Bachchan had the perfect Flashback Friday post for all his fans. He shared a photo of his first stage performance with his dad Amitabh Bachchan from the year 2005. This was, of course, after his Bollywood debut in Refugee (2000), but interestingly before the release of Bunty Aur Babli (2005) where the father-son duo was seen together on screen for the first time.

But wait, Sanjay Dutt had something to do with this photo.

Before you start scratching your head, Abhishek's post will reveal everything about how Sanjay got Big B and Junior Bachchan together on stage, along with a bunch of other trivia that you may be reading for the first time.

"This was for the "Help" telethon which was done to raise money to help all the victims of the devastating tsunami which occurred on December 26th 2004. This huge enterprise of getting the entire Hindi film industry together ( a Herculean task) was spearheaded by @duttsanjay...(sic)," a part of Abhishek's caption reads.

Junior Bachchan also revealed that his debut stage performance was supposed to happen at the IIFA in Amsterdam the same year. However, he couldn't say no to Sanjay Dutt and to the cause and thus this turned out to be his debut on stage.

"Both dad and I performed to a mix/ medley of his song Rang Barse and One Love a track I had done as a cameo in my dear friend @suniel.shetty film Rakth...(sic)," he added.

Abhishek also recalled how he was shooting for the song Kajra Re from Bunty Aur Babli with his dad Amitabh and Aishwarya Rai at the same time - February 2005.

"I would shoot the song all day from 9am to 10pm and then drive to the concert venue and rehearse all night," he said in the caption.

Abhishek then spoke in detail about how he spent his birthday with Sanjay Dutt, choreographer Ganesh Hegde, dancers, and all other staff at the show location in Mumbai.

This comes after the 44-year-old actor shared a  and treated his fans to various trivia about the film.
