Karnataka TET 2020 postponed, new dates to be out soon

Karnataka TET 2020: Attention candidates, the School Education Department, Karnataka, has postponed the Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (Karnataka TET 2020), due to the increasing cases of Coronavirus pandemic. The news was confirmed by Karnataka Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar. The Karnataka board will now release the new KARTET admit card for the new exam dates.
KARTET 2020: About the exam
The Karnataka TET 2020 comprises two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper-II will be conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
The paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking. The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.
Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 in Karnataka schools will appear for KARTET Paper I and candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8 will appear for KARTET Paper II. Those who want to teach all classes from Class 1 to 8 will have to appear for both the papers.
