Man Booked For Threatening To Harm Maharashtra Chief Minister: ReportA complaint was filed at Mumbai's Marine Drive police station against a man for allegedly threatening to harm Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, an official said today.
The complaint was lodged by police officials posted in the ministry after the letter, in which the man claimed he would task sneak into the state secretariat and harm Mr Fadnavis, was received, he said.
The police identified the man as Nanded resident Santosh Kadam, and said an offence under section 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC was registered.

She was taken to a nearby hospital and was recovering, a BJP spokesperson said.
Ms Munde is pitted against her cousin and NCP leader Dhananjay Munde from Parli constituency in the assembly election to be held on Monday.
Attending her fifth rally in the town task on the last day of campaigning, she collapsed while speaking. BJP workers and her sister and Beed MP Pritam Munde, who was present, rushed to her help.
BJP spokesperson Keshav Upadhaye said Ms Munde's hectic campaigning schedule could have led to fatigue. She was taken to a local hospital and was recovering, said Shirish Boralkar, another party spokesperson.

British Tourist Found Dead At Guest House In Kolkata: PoliceA British tourist was found dead today at a guest house in Kolkata's Jodhpur Park area, the police said.
Helen Maria, 69, was found in an unconscious state on the first floor of the guest house in Jodhpur Park area where she was staying along with five others of her family since October 17, they said.
"She was rushed to the nearby MR Bangur Hospital where she was declared brought dead. Maria had come to task the city on October 17 along with five others. They were scheduled to leave for Mumbai this evening," the Investigating officer of the Lake Police Station said.
"The group had a closed-door party in their room in the guest house where they had hard drinks... We have sent her body for post mortem to ascertain the actual cause of her death," the police officer added.

90 Heads Of Foreign Missions To Visit Golden Temple In Amritsar Next Week
Over 90 heads of foreign missions in New Delhi are expected to visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar next week to take part in celebrations related to the 550th birth anniversary of Sikh faith founder Guru Nanak Dev.
Following the decision by the Union Cabinet to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev across the globe, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has invited heads of  task foreign missions in New Delhi to visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Tuesday.
Over 90 resident heads of missions in New Delhi are expected to travel to Amritsar, an official statement said.
The visit is being organised by the ICCR in collaboration with the Punjab government and the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee.
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and ICCR President Vinay Sahasrabuddhe will accompany the heads of missions, the statement said.
"Guru Nanak Dev''s teachings of love, task peace, equality and brotherhood have universal appeal and convey the message of spirituality, humanity, devotion and truth," it said.
